Event Coverage Built for Corporate Teams

A corporate event is not covered the way a wedding is. There is a run sheet, a stage, a sponsor wall, a keynote that cannot be re-shot and a comms team that needs something posted before the delegates have left the hall.

So we plan around the schedule rather than the venue. Cameras are positioned for the sessions that matter, audio is taken off the mixing desk rather than the room, and someone is cutting on site when a same-day reel is part of the brief. The crew stays out of sightlines and out of your photographs of the client.

Corporate Events We Cover

01.

Conferences & Summits

Conference videography with multi-camera coverage of the stage, board audio from the desk, speaker portraits, delegate and networking stills, and every session recorded in full so sales and marketing can use them later.

02.

Product & Brand Launches

Product launch video coverage built around the reveal. Cameras on the stage, the product and the room at the same time, plus press-meet stills, spokesperson bites and a cut-down that can go out while the launch is still news.

03.

Trade Shows & Expos

Expo and trade show video for exhibitors: booth footage, demos, visitor interactions, partner interviews and a hall-floor edit you can use for next year’s sponsor deck. Shot in the gaps between footfall rather than after the hall closes.

04.

Award ceremony coverage and annual day films. Stage wins photographed as they happen, winner portraits, table and audience reactions, performances covered on multiple cameras, and a highlight film for internal comms and hiring.

05.

Brand Activations & Live Events

Experiential event photography and videography for mall and street activations, roadshows and dealer meets, plus concerts, college fests, celebrity appearances and cultural events where the energy in the room is the story.

Who Books Us for Event Coverage

Marketing and communications teams who need the event on LinkedIn before the week ends. Event management and experiential agencies who need a production partner that turns up early, works to a run sheet and can be white-labelled in front of the client. PR teams who need press-meet stills and spokesperson bites released the same evening.

Also: associations and trade bodies running annual conferences, HR teams filming annual days and long-service awards, exhibitors who have paid for a stand and need proof of the footfall, and startups whose launch has one take and no second chance.

From Event Brief to Final Delivery

1. Brief & Recce

We work off your run sheet: session times, stage plan, who speaks when, sponsor walls that must appear, people who must not be photographed, and the deliverables you need first. Where the venue is new to us, we recce it or ask for a floor plan and a lighting plan.

2. Crew & Camera Plan

Camera positions are fixed before the doors open: a locked wide on stage, a roaming long lens for speaker close-ups, and a third for audience and cutaways where the coverage calls for it. Audio comes off the mixing desk with a backup recorder, and photographers split stage and floor so neither gets missed.

3. Coverage on the Day

Stage, sessions, breakout rooms, networking, booths, signage, food, sponsor branding, candids and group shots. If a same-day reel is booked, an editor works on site from the first card of footage instead of starting after wrap.

4. Edit & Delivery

Reels first, highlight film next, then the edited photo set and the full session recordings. Everything comes back in the ratios your comms team actually posts in, with an SRT file where sessions need subtitles.

Planning an Event?

We'll make sure it's captured.

Send us the date, the venue and the run sheet. You get back a crew plan, a deliverables list and a fixed quote, usually the same working day.

Coverage Tiers and Crew Size

Most enquiries come down to one question: how many people are you sending. These are the setups we quote from, and they move up or down once we see the run sheet.

CoverageTypical crewSuits
Half day, up to 4 hours1 photographer + 1 videographer, 2 camerasPress meets, workshops, dealer meets, single-session launches
Full day, up to 10 hours2 photographers + 2 videographers, 3 camerasConferences, award nights, annual days, launches with an evening function
Multi-day, 2 days or moreFull crew per day, plus an editor on siteExpos, summits, roadshows, conferences with breakout tracks

Add-ons are quoted with the job rather than sprung on you later: an extra camera for breakout rooms, a second photographer for parallel tracks, an on-site editor for same-day reels, drone where the venue permits it, and a live stream feed. Overtime is billed by the hour and agreed before the day, not after it.

What You Receive

An edited photo set, colour corrected and culled, covering stage, speakers, delegates, sponsor branding, booths and candids, with the full set delivered in web and print resolution. A highlight film of 60 to 120 seconds for the website and LinkedIn, plus vertical 9:16 reels cut from the same footage for Instagram and Shorts.

Where the event calls for it you also get full session recordings with desk audio, speaker-wise cuts your sales team can send to prospects, an anchor or spokesperson bite for PR, and a 30-second sponsor-facing edit. Subtitles in Tamil or English come as burned-in or separate SRT files. Everything arrives over a download link that stays live, and the raw footage is archived with us for 90 days.

Delivery Timelines

The clock starts when the event wraps. Tell us at booking which deliverable you need first and we build the edit order around that instead of the other way round.

DeliverableStandard turnaroundNotes
Same-day reelBefore the event ends, or that nightMust be booked in advance so an editor is on site
Teaser or highlight film48 hoursRush available on request
Edited photo set3 to 5 working daysA press selection of 20 to 30 images can go out same day
Full session recordings7 to 10 working daysDepends on the number of sessions and subtitling

If a post has to go live at a fixed time, say during the keynote or at the end of day one, tell us at the briefing stage. Same-day output is a staffing decision, not an editing speed, and it has to be planned before the crew is assigned.

Venues, Cities and Working Conditions

We cover events across Chennai: convention centres and exhibition halls, hotel ballrooms, auditoriums, corporate campuses on OMR and in Guindy and Ambattur, factory floors, malls and open grounds. Each of those lights differently, and the camera and lens plan changes with it, which is why we ask for a floor plan or a recce rather than turning up and adapting.

Outside the city we travel across Tamil Nadu and to other metros for roadshows, dealer meets and multi-city launches. Travel, stay and equipment transport are quoted as separate line items so you can see exactly what the outstation portion costs.

Why Brands Choose One Dot Direction

Photography and video come from the same team on the same day, so your stills and your film match instead of looking like two different events. The crew works to a run sheet, arrives before the first delegate and knows when to stop shooting: no flash in a keynote, no tripod in a walkway, no camera between your MD and the client.

And because we edit in house, the reel that goes out on the night and the highlight film that goes out on Thursday are cut by the people who were in the room.

FAQs

How much does corporate event videography cost in Chennai?

Cost depends on hours of coverage, crew size, number of cameras and which deliverables you need. A half-day press meet with one photographer and one videographer sits at the bottom of the range; a multi-day conference with parallel tracks, an on-site editor and full session recordings sits at the top. Send the run sheet and you get a fixed quote with the crew and the deliverables spelled out, not an hourly rate.

A half day is usually one photographer and one videographer on two cameras. A full day is two photographers and two videographers on three cameras: a locked wide on stage, a roaming long lens and one for audience and cutaways. Multi-day events get a full crew per day plus an editor on site. Breakout tracks running in parallel need one more operator each, which we flag at quoting stage rather than on the morning.

Yes, as long as it is booked in advance. Same-day reels are a staffing decision rather than an editing speed: an editor works on site from the first card of footage so a cut can go out during the event or that night. Tell us the posting slot you are aiming for and we build the shoot order around it.

A press selection of 20 to 30 images can go out the same day. The teaser or highlight film lands within 48 hours, the edited photo set in three to five working days, and full session recordings in seven to ten. If one deliverable is more urgent than the rest, say so at booking and we edit in that order.

Yes. Multi-day summits, expos and conferences with breakout tracks are quoted per day, with the same crew across all days so the look stays consistent and nobody has to be briefed twice. Where sessions run in parallel we add operators rather than moving one camera between halls, and daily reels can be delivered at the end of each day.

Live streaming is handled as an add-on and has to be planned in advance, because it depends on the venue’s internet, a separate switcher setup and a dedicated operator. Tell us at enquiry stage which platform you are streaming to, whether it is YouTube, LinkedIn, a webinar platform or an internal portal, and we will confirm what the venue can support.

Yes. We travel across Tamil Nadu and to other metros for roadshows, dealer meets and multi-city launches. Travel, stay and equipment transport appear as separate line items in the quote, and for multi-city work the same crew usually travels so the footage cuts together as one film.

Yes, and from the same team on the same day, which is why the stills and the film match instead of looking like two different events. You can also book only photography or only video if the other half is already covered by your agency.
